In the book, When you reach me by Rebecca Stead it reveals a brave and intelligent girl. her name is Miranda, she is the main character of the story. she lives as many do in New York City. She's often scared by the laughing man and the garage boys but she lives in New York this happens regularly. until one of those garage boys punched Sal her best friend. they stopped talking and the start of those mysterious notes were coming.
When the "Sal" incident had happened, i noticed that Miranda was heart broken. Sal however recovered from his wound and started to play basketball. Miranda was left hanging and they never spoke again. After this Miranda needed another buddy to walk home with, that's when Annmarie and her became friends.
when you reach me, had to do allot with the laughing man. He was the guy who was present during the time of sal's wound. he was a little crazy and homeless guy and was hoping for an answer to sals wound. at the end Miranda is late because now the old man is dead and did not receive his answer. i felt really bad for him because every one had misunderstood him. He just wanted to help their friendship. this is a wonderful story about a great and brave girl. i really liked it.
All in all, this wonderful and brave girl has a complicated life. she still got through it to have a great time! You should read the book!!

Review:
There were many really good blog posts, and I realized I haven’t red some of those books yet. One of the blogs really was amazing! It was Isabelle’s blog, of a poem.
I really liked the part where she said
White and clean
The dress beckons
Do I want to try you on?
Yes, I reckon
You look so pretty
Ironed flat
You fit me like a glove
How about that?
Because I could really see the dress and visualize how the dress looks, fits, is. I love the rhyme and language style it really just goes together really nicely. This is a lovely poem but I was confused on the part of the balloon. Over all written poems I really only liked this one, it was original and much rhymed. I love the way it sounds, you make the words sound like the dress is speaking too. It’s an old- fashioned language but I love it this poem is amazing.
