I am reading the book “freak the mighty”, by: Rodman Phil brick. The two characters in the book are freak and mighty. Max had a problem we’re his body grew faster than his brain. Max actually never had a brain until freak came along. People were afraid of max Max has always been called stupid, dumb and slow.  Max learned how to be alone. But that changed. Until freak came along everything had changed. Freak was weir and a small body. But he had a pretty big brain. Together they were called “Freak the Mighty”. Together Freak the Mighty was one.
Freak the mighty all started in day care. One day in day care max was an angry kid. He was called the kicker, because he just kicked everybody. Kevin called himself the robot man because of his leg braces he had to wear. After a couple of days Kevin stopped coming to day care. But then the boys lost contact with each other.
Freak had moved down the block from max. Max had met freak a long time ago in daycare. It was very fortunate that freak and max found each other. Without freak max would still be called dumb, slow and stupid. Without max, freak wouldn’t be able to have a friend to interact or to rely on. Toether they are freak the mighty!

Question:  what about the experience was rewarding?
The experience of going back and rereading a book was exciting! The chills or thrills you get from the book were rewarding. The feeling of questioning what and when something happens is always there. When you read a book it seems likes you’ve known the character forever. –comment: this is interesting because it’s true after you read a book you never forget the character.
I think it is really interesting because when you get to know the character it feels like the author makes me feel like I’m unique. It’s like you’re always there for your character. It’s actually a fun feeling.
Question: what does the author want you to think, feel, or know?
When I’m reading I feel like the author makes me feel like I’m the spy, looking into the book to get some answers. – Comment: I really like this! I never really thought about this.
Well, sometimes I like thinking outside of the box. Some time it’s better to think deeper into what you actually think about a book.
Same Question….
This author wanted me to know that life is a different place for everyone. In the book there were many worlds and different people.-comment: this is good you should add more different? How?

Title: A Wrinkle in Time
Author: Madeleine L’Engle
Question: What do you think is the most significant part of a journey for Meg? Is it a particular land or encounter with a specific character? Why?

I think the most significant part of the journey for Meg was when she had to go back to Camazots and rescue Charles, her brother, from “It”. Ms. Witch tells Meg that she has one thing that “It” does not have. That was the love she has for her brother. Once she has concentrated on the love she has for Charles, she brings him back to his normal self. She took him out of the trance. Then they tesser through time and in through the wrinkle, to reconnect their family. I thought this was the most significant part because now she doesn’t have many things on top of her and everything else. She can stop worrying about her father and start fresh in school. Now she has more time with her family. Also it shows how much she cares about her brother and her family. She would risk her life just for her family to reunite. Now to her family she is the real “hero”.
